TRADE WITH NEW ZEALAND.
THE P. AND O. EXTENSION. (By Electeic Telegbafh—Copyright.) <Peb Peess Association.) LONDON, Not. 8. The Daily Telegraph states that although it_ is probably correct to say that the visits of the P. and 0. steamers to Auckland are experimental, yet the P. and O. is not a company to embark on an enterprise whereof it does not foresee the end. The decision, says the Telegraph, is one more tribute to New Zealand s growing importance, and moreover affords fravellere an opportunity of visiting Australian, New Zealand, arid Tasmanian ports, without transhipment.
