INDUSTRIES WEEK.

(Peb Peess Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. Special pains have. been taken by the shopkeepers of the city for the display' to the best advantage of New Zealand made- goods, to-day being the beginning of Industries Week. Last year great interest was taken by the public in Industries Week and the effort to press the merits of Dominion made goods on the people was attended by good results, so satisfactory indeed that all concerned decided to make a display annually as the best possible advertisement that could be devised. Sir Joseph Ward will make a tour of inspection of the shops arid no effort will be spared to enhance the value of the display as a medium for advertising the Dominion's industrial products.
