PEA-RIFLE FATALITY.

BOROUGH INSPECTOR SHOT. (Pee Pee«s Association;) HOKITIKA, April 15. A sad shooting fatality took place early this morning resulting in the death of Robert McMillan, borough inspector. It appears deceased went into his yard to shoot a cat and a few minutes later was found in a state of collapse, the pea rifle having gone off accidentally and the pellet entering his breast. He died half an hour later. Deceased leaves a widow and family of nine. ■
