DUNEDIN COURT.
(Peb Press Association.) DUNEDIN, April 6. In the Magistrate Court the case Alfred J. Bush v. the Chemical Stores Co.', claim £120 for wrongful dismissal was heard. The Magistrate, though quite satisfied that there was no fraud or misrepresentation inducing plaintiff to take up his employment, was also quite satisfied that there was no cause of dismissal, and gave judgment for plaintiff for £54 and costs-£8 17s. William John Quan, a well-known criminal, only out of gaol on Monday morning, was before the Court again this morning for drunkenness and was fined. For the theft of a lady s companion he got three months and on a third charge of stealing a watch he was ■ committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. '
