GIRLS IN PERIL.
ESCAPE FROM A BURNING BUILDING. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) Received March 31. 8.35 a.m. PERTH, March 31. A fire occurred in tho basement of a building in Murray street. Seventy girls were working on the top floor and several jumped a distance of 20 feet. One was injured and the others wore eventually induced to face the smoke and escaped uninjured.
