DANNEVIRKE, March 20. An inquest was held into the death of William Harold Smart, who died as the 'result of an accident on the railway on the 10th inst, in which a light engine collided with a velocipede pro pelled by deceased and a surfaceman named Davolosky. The Coroner returned the following verdict: Death was due to fatty embolism in the brain, arising from fracture of the right leg, whic fracture was caused by the collision.
