BOILS. This is the season of the year when boils are troublesome. When, they appear, and exhibit persistency by daily enlargement and increasing pain, suppuration should be promoted by warm poultices of bread and linseed meal, to which a little oil should be added; or warm and stimulating embrocations, exposure to the vapour of hot water, or the application of stimulating plasters may be adopted. The diet may be full and regular . till the discharge of the matter, when it should bo lessened, and the.bowels kept in natural operation by the regular use of IMPEY'S MAY APPLE. Where there is a disposition in the constitution to boils, Impey's May Apple should bo used right through the summer months; this is a certain preventative, as those who have, used it can testify. Boils or other eruptions cannot exist when the blood is pure, but in order to keep it pure the stomach, liver, kidneys, and bowels must perform their natural functions. When they fail, or refuse to act properly, a few (loses of Impey's May Apple will bring about the desired result. Price 2s 6d.—Advt.
