AUCKLAND, March 17,

On the 7th inst. when the steamer Tymcric was at Apia. Samoa, there was no sign of any trouble among tho natives there. "In fact," said Mr Postle, the chief officer of the Tymeric, "a more peaceful lot of natives one could not wish to come across." Mr Postlo added that- as far as ho could see there was no need for the German warships there.
