ANOTHER RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

A GUARD KILLED

(Peb Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Feb. 9. While railway trucks were being ■shunted at Otahuhu station at twoo'clock this morning Guard W. Bailey, who was riding on the cowcatcher, either slipped or lost his hold and fell. The engine and trucks passed over the body, which was mangled. The neck and back were broken, one arm was cut off and the body was terribly battered. Death was probably instantaneous.
