The Mineral Oil Company's _ boro at Roma struck gas and it immediately ignited, the flames rising a hundred feet. The plant was destroyed and the roaring of the escaping gas can be heard miles away. Tne latest report is that oil is now, issuing from the bore, but the flames arc increasing and the heat is intense. It is impossible to approach the 6pot. Attempts are to bo made to smother the flame.
