HOCKEY.
TO-MORROW'S MATCHES. Four games will be provided at the Showgrounds to-morrow afternoon, \ and some interesting hockey should be witnessed. Old Boys and Phoenix alwavs put up a good display, and they will meet for the first time this season. To-morrow, too, the ladies rounds will be commenced, Old Uiris plaving High School. The juniors are looking forward to a willing game, as Old Boys and C.S. School, who play<>d a draw last time, have to face each other. The programme is as follows: No. 1 Ground—Old Boys v. Phcenix, Mr Giorgi. . No. 2 Ground—Technical School v.. Old Boys B, Mr Tucker. No. 3 Ground— High School v. Old Girls. 3.30 p.m., Mr Crump No. 4 Ground—C.S. School v. Old Bovs IL, Mr Mills. teams for to-morrow:—Old Boys Juniors— Minogue, Skinner, Miller, James Cousins, Burbush, McKeeman, Uennett. Goldfinch, Wall, Canton. Technical School.—A Johansen. MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION. The Executive of the Manawatu to Hockey Association mot at the Club , 'Hoteriast night, Mr F. M. Garner presiding. Correspondence was received from the Thames and Hawke s Bay Associations, stating their intention of sending representative teams to plav in Palmerston, and it was resolved to express pleasure at the decisions to do so. Ihe secretary s action in ordering nets for the outside mounds was confirmed.
