TO-MORROW'S MATCHES. Four games will be provided at the Showgrounds to-morrow afternoon, \ and some interesting hockey should be witnessed. Old Boys and Phoenix alwavs put up a good display, and they will meet for the first time this season. To-morrow, too, the ladies rounds will be commenced, Old Uiris plaving High School. The juniors are looking forward to a willing game, as Old Boys and C.S. School, who play<>d a draw last time, have to face each other. The programme is as follows: No. 1 Ground—Old Boys v. Phcenix, Mr Giorgi. . No. 2 Ground—Technical School v.. Old Boys B, Mr Tucker. No. 3 Ground— High School v. Old Girls. 3.30 p.m., Mr Crump No. 4 Ground—C.S. School v. MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION. The Executive of the Manawatu to Hockey Association mot at the Club , 'Hoteriast night, Mr F. M. Garner presiding. Correspondence was received from the Thames and Hawke s Bay Associations, stating their intention of sending representative teams to plav in Palmerston, and it was resolved to express pleasure at the decisions to do so. Ihe secretary s action in ordering nets for the outside mounds was confirmed.
