Per Press Association. GISBORNE, March 26. Heavy rain has fallen to-day, and the fall for the month totals 11 inches, 4 inches being the average for March for the last 30 years. The rivers are rising rapidly, and coaches are detained in consequence of the flooded state of tho creeks.
