Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 22. At. the inquest concerning the death of Frederick Konnard, who was found with his throat cut at his mother's residence on Friday, it was shown that he had been drinking heavily for some time. A verdict of suicide whilst temporarily insane was returned. DUNEDIN, March 22. At the inquest on. the body of James Brady, who died on Friday as the result of injuries sustained by a railway accident "on Wednesday week, the medical evidence showed that deceased sustained a lacerated scalp wound on .the back of the head and an extensive fracture, part of the skull being broken off and the brain tissue pulped. The jury returned a verdict that death was caused by deceased having bocn_ accidentally struck bv a railway train in motion. At tho inquest on the body of Mrs Hubbard, aged 57, found on Tomahawk Beach, tho jury were of opinion that there were no "suicidal signs, that deceased must have been walking round tho cliff and, taking a fit, have fallen into tho water. They returned a verdict that deceased was found drowned, but there was not sufficient evidence to showhow she got into the water. Deceased's husband said sho was an inmate of a mental hospital twelve months ago, but since her discharge had shown no signs of suicidal tendency.
