THE CARNIVAL TOURNEY. Per Press Association. NAPIER, March 22. The Carnival bowling competitions Avere Vontiuned on Saturday when, despite occasional heavy showers in the afternoon, fair progress was made. The playing-off of the tie for first place in the B Section of the rink matches was proceeded with, Gisborne beating Greenmeadows (Badley), and Bluff Hill beating Palmerston North (Bunting). The semifinal between Gisborne and Bluff Hill resulted in an easy win for the former by 2 points to 10.
