Per Press Association. TIMARU, March 13. Messrs E. Howard, President of the Christehurch General Labourers' Union, and Jas. Thorne addressed a well-attend-ed meeting to-night, and as a result founded a union of wool and grain stores workers as a branch of the Christehurch General Labourers' Union. The waterside workers were present, and were advised to organise separately. The dispute between the contractors and sub-contractors for the first section of underground drainage works came before the Magistrate's Court to-day on a claim by the latter for £192 for extra work in tunnelling for the main drain. After some evidence was taken the case was settled out of court. '
