THE SHEARERS' DISPUTE.
RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CONFERENCE. ACCEPTED BY THE MEN'S UNION. The Secretary to the Farmers' Union (Mr W. Hunter) received a letter to-day from Mr Abbott, secretary of the Shearers' Union, in which he states that his executive have decided to adopt the terms arranged at the conference in Palmerston as a satisfactory settlement of the disput*.
