The differences between King Leopold and the Belgium Government regarding the Congo Free State have been adjusted. The annexation treaty is ready for presentation to the Chamber. OTTAWA, November 23. Hundreds of penniless unemployed from the United States are entering Canada.. . Only those physically and mentally unfit can be rejected. The problem of dealing with the indigent is serious. The number of unemployed is in excess of that in 1906. LONDON, Novembr 23. The Daily Express Madrid correspondent asserts that King Carlos of Portugal banished the Crown Prince of Portugal on the latter remonstrating on the inadvisibility of the King continuing a practical dictatorship which is turning Portugal into a hotbed of Republicans and anarchists, and endangering the dynasty. The Prince is under the influence of the party desiring King Carlos to abdicate in his son's favor. SYDNEY, November 23. NeAV South Wales beat Victoria by 28 sets to 26 at tennis.
