(Per Press Association). MASTERTON, March 29. • The Masterton races were run in fine weather. The course was heavy. Results: — Masterton Hack Handicap—Scenery I,' iEolus 2, Maui 3. Also started: Hat-ley, Lavinia, Moloch, Riflemaid. Wonby a length. Time, Imin 47 2-5 sec. Divs, j£3 7s and £2 10s. Waipipi Cup—Douche 1, Roseal 2, Spoil 3. Also started: Jolly Friar, Clanburn, Waifcarere, Capulet, Bounce. A good race between Roseal and Douche resulted in a win for the lacter by a length and a half. Time, 2min 16 2-5 sec. Divs, ±'2 10s and £2 6s. Telegraph Hack Handicap—Truce 1, Aboriginal 2, Gladsmuir3. Also started: Elfrida, Tangerine, Lady Lethe. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 20sec. Divs, £2 17s and £1 Is. Ladies' Bracelet —Cinque 1, Moetoropuku 2, Acetylene 3. Also started: Sherlock Holmes, Grey Gown, Reah, Rino, Gracilus. "Won by three lengths. Time, 2min 23sec. Divs, £4 Is and £1 lis. March Handicap—Marguerite 1, St. Albert 2, Fancy work 3. Also started: Prelude, Aberration, Variation, Hinu-, rewa. Won by a bare length. Time, lmin 328ec. Div, £5. Dash Hack Handicap—Pink 'Un 1, Scotch Reel 2, Mataara 3. Also started: Montague, Waikakaho, Letheline, Sun Bonnet, Gladsmuir, Ivaiuku, Kangaroo, "■ Hukanui, Lady Pet, Narrow Escape, Disproves.
