Hide and Skin Report.
■Da'gety &nd Co. report under date Wellington, 15th December :—We held our usual skin sale to-day, when we offered a fair catalogue of bag wool and tallow, and a large catalogue of skins and hides. "Wo quote as follows:— Wool.—Only inferior lots offered. Merino neece 89, d, dead wool 7ifd, crossbred fleece 7Ad, piecer 5d to 6d. Skins.— Prices were on a par with last sale. Half.bredsSJdto 9d, medium crossbreds BAd to Bt<3, hoggets 7d to Sid, merino half wools 7d to 7-Jd, pelts Is 3d to 2s, dead and broken 6£d to 7d, green lambs 2s sd. Hides.—Prices for good lots were from Is 8d to -\d higher than last sale. For inferior lots, last sale prices were fully maintained. Prime ox s£d to s§d, medium o£d to 5Jd, slippy and inferior cows 4£d to s£d, yearlings 4£d to s|d, caif-skina 6M to G^d, inferior do s£d to 6d, out and slippy 4£d to s£d. Tallow (in tins).—l6s 9d to 17s.
