AUCKLAND, This day. A fire at the sugar Co.'s wharf at Chelsea, destroyed a carrier and a shed. The estimated loss is £600.
DUNEDIN, Tins day. Hospital Saturday was inaugurated to-day, though the weather was none too favourable. It is anticipated that over £500 will be realised. The Star's shilling subscription already exceeds £(500. Bing, Harris and Co., to-day, sent a donation of £250.
