Events Worth Noting.
Messrs Tombs and Grubb, grocers, insert a list of prices at which, some o£ their goods are being sold. Messrs Collinson and Cunninghame notify the public that they are making' a speciality of dresses and' dressmaking. The U.F.C.A. have just landed a shipment of the celebrated Couma tea, also a line assortment of English confectionery. Messrs Kodgers and Larcomb, land and estate agents, call attention to a couple of exceedingly cheap properties they have had placed in their hands for' immediate disposal. One of the properties is situated within an easy distance of Palmerston North, and at the remarkably low prices asked should find a ready purchaser. An advertisement is inserted on page 8 in -which device is given liow to vote in the licensing election. Mr J. B. Wilton directs attention to a large shipment of Japanese and China flower pots, leather goods, ladies and gent's sterling silver and gold mounted purses, dressing cases and numberless articles suitable for the Xmas season, just landed at his establishment.
