BLENHEIM, Nov. 19. The weekly total for the twenty-ninth ■week of the New Zealand Egg-laying Competition is 2158. The grand aggregate now is 52,716, and average weekly 21.58. The highest layings for the week are: Jonathan Hodson's 'White Leghorns from Blenheim, Cole's Minorca's from Hamilton, Mick Shaw's White Leghorns from Blenheim, Ashworth's Silver "Wyandottes from Alexandra, Snodgrass' Black Orpingtons from Masterton, all with 32. Tne order of merit in grand aggregate runs as follows: - Leger's "White Leghorns (Levin) 841, Brooke's "White Leghorns (South Australia) .771, Maryborough A. and P. Association 743, Micii Shaw's White Legihorns (Blenheim) 727, Jonathan Hod•son's White Leghorns (Blenheim) 714. There are over one hundred hens in broody condition.'
