J. Prentice (Mr Cooper) v. Staples and Co., Ltd. (Mr Weston) claim £262 12s.

'Ihe claim was made under " The Contractors and Workmen's Lien Act, 1892," and was for the supply' of 101,100 bricks at M 17s 6d per thousand, the work being done for E. Malcolm, contractor, in respect of the erection of the Eahway Hotel. The whole of the morning was devoted to legal argument between counsel engaged, no evidence being called.
