Wood, England, improvements relating to incandescent gas lighting; C. E. L. Brown, Switzerland, improvements in the propulsion of vessels; Hon. C. A. Parsons, England, improvements relating to valves of the piston type; Watson and Mackay, Dunedin, a chemical process for the troatrnentof flax; Jas.Gray (Reid and Gray), Dunedin, fertiliser'conductor for fertiliser drills; Christchurch Moat Co., apparatus for securing the tops of covers of preserving tins; Jas. Gray (Reid and Gray), Danedin, device for sowing mangold seeds.
