Wellington Wool Sales.

WELLINGTON, Nov. 17,

The first wool sale of the current season was held to-day. At a similar sale last year 4000 bales were offered, but this year'owing to the wetness.of the season only 1500 bales came forward. Tho following prices were realised :'■ — Half-bred, 10d to lid; superior crossbreds, 10£ dto 10^d ; medium crossbreds, 9M to lOd; coarse crossbreds, 9d to 9Jd; inferior and log stained, 8d to 9d ; pieces and bellies, 6d to 7£d ; locks, 3d to 4^d.
