The following somewhat belated list of matches played by the rep. team of the Manawatu Rugby Union during the past season has r.ow been compiled. Some difficulty was experienced in collecting the data as for some reason no official record seems to have been kept by the Union :—
Against Wanganui, lost by 3 to 7; Wanganui (return match), won by 13 to nil; Southland, drawn 6 to 6; Ofcago, lost by 4to nil; South Canterbury, won by 6to 4; Canterbury, lost by 3to 6 ; Hawke's Bay, won by 9to nil; Wairarapa (Thursday), won by 12 to 3; Bush Union, won by 20 to 8; Horowhenua, won by 11 to 3; Horowhenua (return match), won by 24 to nil; Taranaki, won by 6 to 3 ; Wellington, drawn 3 to 3 ; Wairarapa, lost by 9 to 19 ; Foxton, won by 18 to 3; Australia, in conjunction with Hawke's Bay and Bush Union, lost by 5 to 7.
A summary shows that 16 matches were played in all, o! which 9 were won, 5 lost and 2 drawn. . The total points scored by the local reps, was 148, while 76 were obtained against them.
