"When London Wakes."

To-night

The complimentary testimonial to be tendered to Miss Irene Carlyon takes place to-night at the Zealandia Hall. Miss Carlyon has .become very popular with theatregoers during her stay in Palmerston and a bumper house is assured. The attraction to be submitted is a strong one. " When London. Wakes" is full of power, pathos, a wealth of sensation, genuinely funny, comedy scenes, situations with additional diversity in the form of musical selections, songs, etc. Mr H. Wood will repeat his successful humorosities from " My Sweetheart," Miss Queenie Knox will sing " When London Sleeps," and a whole coterie of specialists will participate in a monster programme. The scenery will be adequate and a full orchestra will discourse sweet music.
