The Jewish community here has cabled to Lord Rothschild £1000, the first instalment of the Russian Jews' relief fund.
DUNEDIN, Nov. 16.
The Primate has asked the Premier to request His Excellency the.Governor to send the following cable to the Home Office on be-ialf of the Anglican Church of the colony • —'The Anglican Church of the colony earnestly pleads with the Holy Synod of Russia to denounce the massacre of the Jews."
