Another sale of land was made by Maekay and Whishaw in conjunction, with Mr P. Loudon, of 263 acres on the Palmerston-Ashhurst road at £35 aa acre, £9205. The same agents also sold, a property in Wellington for £16,000,. being in all £25,205, not a bad day's work.
