A Player's Eligibility

CHBISTGHUECH, Nov. 14.
The Council of the j^ew Zealand Hockey Association met to-day to consider the case of P. Bell, who played for the Wanganui Club against the Trinity Club,_ though the secretary of the Wanganui Association had refused him permission to play on the ground that he had not given sufficient notice of his icsidence in the district.. Further, correspondence was received from, the secretary of the association. The notice required was seven days, and only three days' notice was given. The'match was, however, postponed for a" week. The" Council adhered to its previous decision, upholding Bella's eligibility to play- '
