NOTICE is hereby given tbat at a Special Meeting held on September sth. 1905, the Palmerston North Borough Council passed the following resolution :— That a Special Rate of one penny and one halt-penny (Hd) in the £ on tbe rateable yaliie of the rateable property m the Borough of Palmereton North be now made by Special Order to provide interest and sinking fund on a loan of £16,000 (being part of a loan ot £86,000 authorised under tbe provisions of " The Municipal Corporations Acti 1900," to be raised for Drainage Work.), and that such Special Bate shall be an annual recurring rate to become due and payable in two instalments on June Ist and December l.t respectively in each and every year during the currency of the loan or until the loan is paid off.
