Feilding Wool, Skin and Hide Sale.
A. H. Atkinson held his monthly sale of wool, skins and hides in Feilding yesterday, when some 500 skins, 2 bales and numerous bag lots of wool and over 200 hides were offerecß Quotations: — Wool —Crutchings made up to 6£d, dead wool 6£d to 7d. Skins: Crossbreds, fine, 7^d to 8d; dead green, 4s each; dead hoggets and crossbred, 6fd to 7d; green skins, 5s 9d to 6s Bd. Hides: Ox, 22s 6d to 25s 6d; cow, 16s to 18s 6d ; calves, Is 6d to 2s ss ; yearlings up to 6s 6d ; horsehair, Is 3d per lb ; tallow, 18s cwt. The next sale will be held on sth October.
