NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 7. An exciting episode occurred iv Devon street this afternoon. As the Salvation Army Biorama Band was marching along the street a horse which had been startled by a motor car came careering through the crowd and the ranks, the trap to which it was attached knocking several persons over. Many of these miraculously escaped without injury, but Adjutant Dickens, New Plymouth, sustained a severe injury to his back. Two children sustained concussion, cuts, and bruises,, and another little girl had her chest rather badly hurt.
