For the sake of those that have not the nil'cs, it states:— . "Before the puM&iyiiion of the programme of a meeting ether than that of a Metropolitan Club, twa' copies thereof shall be forwarded to Li]*? Metropolitan Committee, accompanied by an audited balance-sheet showing the- receipts and. expenditure during the pas-i racing year of the club proposing to hoM such meeting, and the Metropolitan-Committee shall approve of such programme upon being satisfied that the club has complied with these rules and that no moneys which have been received by the club during the year have been expended otherwise than in stakes, making improvements to the course, interest and sinking fund on borrowed money or purchase money, or otherwise in the interest of racing, or, in the case of a Hunt Club, in the keep of hounds or other kona fide expenses connected with the hunt. Until the programme has been approved by the Metropolitan Committee, it shall not be advertised, and every such programme shall, when advertised in the official calendar, show therein that it has been approved of the Metropolitan Committee."—Yours, etc., .
