Horrible Outrages.

(Received August 26, 8.36 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, August 25. Cossacks surrounded a Socialist meeting at Dentow, near Lodz, and arrested 380. A further 450 were arrested at Lodz.

During a fair in the village of Verklmi Neprofsk, in the Lihovka province, an immense crowd of peasants attacked the merchants., and pillaged their goods. They massacred some and mutilated the bodies, gouging out the eyes and cutting off the ears.
