NAPIER, August 24. The ladies' hockey tournament was concluded on the Recreation Grounds to-day. The second elevens of the Maroro and Girls' High School Clubs played a match which resulted in a win for the Maroros by 2 goals to 1.
The Maroro and Huia first elevens played a good game, the former winning by 5 goals to nil.
The Craven School team (Palmerston) proved much too good for the Napier Girls' High School firat eleven, defeating them by 8 goals to nil.
