;-.;. Entries for Abraham and Williams.'* Colyton sale are advertised to-day. _^ Mr B. Gray's dairy ttjck, including Shorthorn,-' Ayrshire, and Holstein. cows, will be sold by. public auction at the homestead, Hollow's Line, near Glen Oroua,.by the' New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. tomorrow. Forty purebred Yorkshire pigs will also be offered, the herd being one of the best in the colony. ' H. Palmer and Co., acting under instructions from Staples and Co., sell the furniture in the old Bailway Hotel by public auction to-morrow. The bulk of the furniture is in good orderand condition, for although the house has been condemned, it in no wayaffects the contents. In addition to the furniture the whole of the linen, cutlery and crockery is being sold absolutely to the highest bidder. Those in need of first-class draught horses arc reminded of the sale to be held at Feilding to-morrow by Gorton and Son on account of Hoclcen Bros. The horses entered have been specially selected for this sale and are quite up to the. high standard established by the vendors.
The New Zealand Loan and Merc an- • tile Agency. Co. advertise a special dairy cow sale to be held at Kimbolton on September 13. Early entries are solicited. This sale should afford dairymen a splendid opportunity of securing first-class dairy stock. Gorton and Son have been instructed by the executors of the estate of the late W. Baker, of Makino, to hold a clearing sale of draughts at Feilding on - August ,30th. The auctioneers state that they have personally inspected, these horses and describe them as a particularly useful lot.
