BERLIN, August 21. The North German Gazette refers to the friendship shown to German warships formerly visiting British ports, and hopes the outcome of Admiral Wilson's return visit will confirm the mutual respect of the two nations.
It is semi-omcially reported at Berlin regarding the treatment of a French Algerian chief, who was brought to Fez, that it the facts are correctly reported, such action constituted an encroachment on the rights of foreigners. M. Tatteumbach has been instructed to co operate with M. Taillandier, with a view to a satisfactory settlement.
