(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUKCH, August 19. The New Zealand Grand National meeting was concluded to-day in dull weather. IThe attendance was fair, and speculation better than on the third day last year, the investments reaching £13,264. Concluding results : Heatkeote Handicap — Crichton 1 Cannie Chiel 2, Ability 3. Also started: Shrapnel Shell, Full Cry Golden Knight, Flower-o'-Clutlia, Beau Seaton, Veneer, Bagpipes, Sardonyx. Silverlene, Elibank. Won- by two and a-half lengths. Time, lmin 32scc. Divs., £5 8s 6d and £2 16s Gd
Lincoln Steeplechase— Pipi 1, Manazona 2, Victory 3 Also started—lnnis-. killen, Phaetonitis, Norwcst, Tekohau, Defoe, Eurus, The Dauber. Pipi won as he liked by 200 yards, Norwest being the only other horse to complete the course. Time, smin 18 3-sths sec. Divs., £5 13s 6d and £2 8s 6d.
Selwyn Handicap—Jolly Friar 1, Tessera 2, Master Alix 8. Also started— Wet Eecf, General Syrnons, King's Guest. The Stake, Brighton, Matuku, Ordn-tnce, Heirloom, Bluestone, Stepaside. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, lmin 20sec. Divs., £5 12s 6d and £2 5s 6d.
Final Hurdles - Daredevil 1, Magnificent 2, Hydrant 3. Alsostarted-Huku, Wind, Wonderful, Valima, Espulse, Outer. Won by two lengths. Time, omin 16sec. Divs, £5 14s 6d and £2 Is. Hunters' Plate—Playfair 1, Wiwaka 2, Makuri 8. Also started—Early Van, Kohuru, Brookside, Baden, Caronna, Bungler. Won easily by three lengths. Time, 2miu 58sec. Divs, £2 18s and ±1 9s.
