Auction Sales.

The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., will hold a sale of dairy cows at Kimbolton on Wednesday. . - The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. hold atr unreserved, clearing sale of dairy stock at Hamilton's Line, Jackeytown, on Monday, on account of Mr E. A. Greenland. Fifty-six first-class dairy, cows is included in the stock to be offered. ■

Mounsey and Co. sell pigs, poultry, produce, etc., at Ashhurst on Monday. '. Entries advertised t for Gorton and Son's Feildirig sale. In another column Mr Newton King, of New Plymouth, advertises a clearing sale at Mimi, on Wednesday next, of Mr W. Cr. Glassford's superior dairy herd. The cows are mostly grade Jecseys and a really first-clasi lot, the last season's test being as high as 56 which was the highest average at the factory,.aad con< sidering the large number of cows will take a lot of beating. Those wanting to improve the quality of their herds will do well to wait for tbis: sale which will afford an exceptional opportunity of securing really first-class milkers. For convenience of buyers a free brake will leave Waitara at 9 a.m on the morning of the sale. .

The lines of furniture in the old Rail-" way Hotel, to be sold on Wednesday next by H. Palmer and Co. on account of Staples and Co., are advertised to-day. Buyers will note that the sale commences punctually at 11 o'clock, and every article will be sold absolutely without reserve. :'■;'•
