The Emperor accompanied and entertained King Edward at dinner at Ischl. SYDNEY, August 16. The Land Commission got on the track of Willis' safe. Tsushan, a Chinaman, sent to the Chronicle circumstantial stories of the illtreatment of coolies on the Band. Mr Bell, a Commoner, wrote to the Hon. A. Lyttelton, inquiring if the statements were true. The Hon. Lyttelton, in reply, quoted documentary evidence exposing Tsushan'-s antecedents, and added that allegations from such a source were unworthy of investigation.
