Stock Report.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd, report:—- .
Sales during the week at Marton and a clearing sale on behalf of Mr D. McCrackon at Utiku. At Marton a failyarding of sheep; but few cattle. Good sheep sold readily under the hammer at late rates, but for inferior ewes vendors had to, accept inferior prices. We quote:—
Sheep.-Lambs 8s 6d to 9s Sd. small 2-th 13s '6a, 2-th wethers los 9d, f.f.m. ewes (good) 14s 6d, f.m. ewes 9s to 11s, fat ewes 12s Gd. Cattle.—Good weaner calyes 30s, fat cows £-1 11s. Pigs.— Weaners 6s, slips 9s. ,
D. McCracken's sale. — Dairy 'cows were in good condition and averaged £4 Bs, draught horses £30, £36, £45 and£49 light sorts £10 to £15.
