Snt.—Seeing that a sports meeting is to be held here on Raster Monday, I would like to know if the Council intends doing anything to the cycle track, or is it to be left in its present dangerous state. I should think tliit a town the size of Jfalmerston shou'd be able to boast of having a " track,1' and not a half clay half asphalt track (?; like the one it now possesses. I hope,, sir, the track will be improved fcr the safety of the riders —I am, etc.,;
