Football.
At a meeting of the Institute Football Club last evening, two new members were elected and two propositions of honorary membership received. It was decided to hold a social and dance'-at an early date, and a committee was appointed to make arrangements. Messrs J. P. Innes, R. H. Cooper, and H.L. Young wrote, accepting positions as Vice-presidents and enclosing donations. .
Providing suitable arrangements, can be made the club will hold a practice on the Showground next Saturday.
A meeting, with a view to resuscitating the junior team will probably be held next week, the date of which intending members will be duly notified.
After a sub-committee had been appointed to draft rules and other unimportant business bad been transacted, the meeting terminated.
