INVEBOARGILL, March 15. At the Irish Athletic Society's spoits here to-day G. W. Collie (Danedin), from 7yds Btarfc, won the 75yds raoe. Time, 7 2-sseo. The same runner annexed the St Patrick's Handicap, 135 yds, off the 134yda mark. MoLouohlan (3yds) was second and Dodd (10yds) Time, 124-sseo. Won on the tape, McLoughlan and others claiming that he had won. He has protested. McLougblan won the 220 yds from scratch. Time, 22 2-ssec.

W. Coaling (15yd) won the Mile Flat easily by nearly his handicap. Time 4min 69seo.

Frank Forde, the famous all round athlete, undertook to beat Cameron's world's record throw of the 161b hammer Scotoh style. His throw was 126 ft 7in, which exceeds Cameron's by 3ft B£in.
