Heavy Damage Inflicted on
Enemy.
Received March 14, at 9.23 a.m. LONDON, March 13,
Advices from Mauritius state that Admiral Rozhdestvensky is still at Nossibe, and he will remain there till the end of April. The crews are drilling night and day, firing practice being frequent.
Admiral Dubassoff states Admiral Rozhdestvensky will proceed to the Far East when the fleet is completed. It would be dishonourable to Russia to discuss peace until she obtained a victory.
Marshall Oyama reports that all the Japanese forces have advanced north, inflicting heavy damage on the enemy, who are attempting resistance at various places. They were completely expelled from the districts within 25 miles of Mukden, and were still being pursued on Sunday.
