"SHEAR" MERIT.—Last year a sheep shear named the " Huia " pattern was introduced to this district and met with unprecedented favour and demand. This pattern was suggested by some of the best known " ringers " in the country and further improvements were suggested by them,,notably " narrow grip " and " wider opening." These have been faithfully carried out by the manufacturers and the " shear " now stands preeminent above all others. Obtainable only from' the U.F.C.A., Palmerston North.* .
