An up-to-date hairdressing saloon and tobacconist's shop has been opened by Mr A. .A. , Pratt^ in premises adjoining T. „ Parkins, butcher, the Square. The shop, which has been thoroughly renovated, will bo found to be well stocked with tobacconists' goods, stationery and toilet requisites. The hairdressing saloon is under the capable management of Mr Chas. W. Oliver (late of Coleman's),. Auckland, and patrons of this department can depend on getting the best of attention. Copies of the Standard may be procured every evening.
