Mr W. Ross reports '.—During the week my usual stock sales at Woodville, Dannevirke ana Weber have beeD held. At Woodville there waa a full yarding of cattle and only one pen of Bheep. Bidding for young stock was brisk throughout, and with the exception of one line of steers, everything was cleared at quotations. Cattle—-Fat cows £5 10s, forward do M 15a, store do £3 ss, springers £6, 15-months Bteers and heifers £3 3s, yearlings £2 10s, strong weaners 35s to £2 2a, small do 203 to 255. . Sheep—Old ewes 12s 3d. ' Dannevirke horse sale, 14th mat. Over 70 horses were catalogued, including all sorts. There was a fair! demand, and a good proportion of the ! better animals changed hands as fol-1 lows:—Medium draughts £35 to £42 10s, light do £20 to £30, spring carters £18, light harness sorts £8 to £15 hacks £5 to £12. ' Thore was a full yarding of sheap and cattle of over the average quality at the Dannevirke stock sale yesterday. Tho entry comprised a very fine line of 250 owes in lamb, and also 600 store lambs i from the Tamaki Pastoral Co. which I were the centre of attraction, and reai lißea record prices, the ewes fetching 17s 6d and the store lambs lla Bd. The quality and condition of those line 3 showed unmistakable evidence of the superior quality of the land which produced them, and wore highly creditable to the management. Prices were as follows:—

Cattle-Fat bullocks L 7, fat cows L 5 10s, springers L 7 15s, store cows L 3 10s, 3-yr steers L 5, 2£yr do L4los, 2-yr doLd, 18.m03d0L3123 6d,15-!uos do L 3 3s to L 3 7s 6d, yearlings L 2 5s to m 10s, weanere 35s to 88s, small do 20 to 255, heifers in calf L 4 15s. Snoop—Ewes in lamb 17a 6a, fab ewes 14s Id to 15s 6d, fat ewes and lambs 15s lia. old ewes in lamb 12s 3d store lambs lls 3d to 11s Ba. Pigs—Weaners Qs to 7s 6d.
