A preliminary, meeting was held today of loading Anglicans to arrange what steps should bo tatten t'> enable the diocese to claini-tbe £25,000 bequeatied under the will of the late William Harrop to build an Anglican Cathedral on the sito of tha present St. PaulV. The Primate said he had obtained premises for over £3000, irrepeoiive of the £100 'offared by tbe clergy of tbo diocese, and he was hopeful of being Bpared to see £10,000 contributed, in whioh event he would proceed to lay the foundation stone. Bo was hopeful of the outlook for raising the required £20,000 to enable tho bequest to bo claimed. Co-opc-r&tion was hoped of others than Anglicans, and already support was promised.
